Secondhand shopping is more than just finding used items for less…
When my siblings and I were very young, my parents couldn’t regularly purchase us all brand-new clothes or full-price items. We would shop for groceries at the Grocery Outlet, clothes from Savers, and so on.
My mom was always teaching us to look for deals, or how to find things we liked for less. Especially, about looking for specialty items people had donated. At the time I didn’t really care or get excited the way she would. However, once I got the bug for it, the excitement never left.
Below are a small collection of items we’ve purchased for the home that are second-hand. I think you’ll find it’s the majority of our home, ha!
